Couple's Perfect Retreat
I thought the hospitality really stood out the staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us when we arrived late they even arranged a delicious ploughman’s platter just for me the small touches like fresh milk and orange juice in the fridge were unexpected luxuries that made us feel right at home
It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly but considering the quality it felt worthwhile

What a culinary joy! The breakfast spread was a feast, showcasing fresh local produce—it totally hit the spot. Plus, the pub's decor gave it a cozy feel that made us linger longer. Our room had little luxuries like orange juice in the fridge—proper treat!
The sliding bathroom door was a bit too nosy for comfort, letting all the sounds escape. And that little shower surround almost led to a midnight trip—watch your step, mate!

Charming place with great vibe
This is a lovely inn with a chill garden and friendly staff. The room was spotless and had loads of tea & coffee. We had the full English for breakfast, which was spot on! Only thing was, the menu for dinner was kinda limited. a really nice spot for a quick getaway.

Bicycle-friendly services, Beautifully restored historical building, Comfy garden seating with views
The lack of air conditioning in warmer months really makes the stay uncomfortable!!! The sliding barn door into the bathroom absolutely disrupts privacy!!! The television system could use a user-friendly upgrade!!! Noise from neighboring rooms can be quite bothersome!!! It's frustrating to find limited dining options during off days!!!

The Superior Double or Twin Room with Garden View was really cozy! Loved the comfy beds and super clean bathroom. the view from the window was amazing, could see the chalk horse on the hill. They had nice touch with homemade biscuits in the room, and the toiletries were locally sourced which smelled great. Just a minor issue with the bathroom sliding door. not much privacy there. But overall, a delightful experience!
